Closing Notes and Observations:
Everyone who evidence suggested gave themselves as a sacrifice but had not arrived during the maelstrom (ie: had already been here) returned when the rift was closed, save for the five names listed above. 27% of the maelstrom arrivals returned after their sacrifice and/or accidental fall into the sea. It seems like the majority of people who closed the rift were those new arrivals. [his handwriting gets a little bit shaky again there, but remains legible and he tightens it up rather quickly.] Most of the bones which washed up on shore likely belonged to them. I conclude, therefore, that any others belong to humans, either as victims of the Tage terrorist bombings or the appetites of my fellow monsters.
